Ordered coffee the other week, had a genuine conversation with the owner who was great to chat with, we spoke all things coffee and you can tell he is passionate about his cafe! He knows his customers as they walk in by their name, knows their order and serves up most importantly well made coffee.

Matt is hospitable and a very great chef! I enjoyed the food I ordered which he personally cooked for us. The coffee is so nice! I don't need a sophisticated cafe to enjoy my food and coffee. Lincoln Food Store always satisfy my hungry tummy.

Today we visited the cafe for the first time, and we were blown away by not only the service of all staff, but the food and how quickly it came, how well presented it was. It's a little more costly than we're used to, but every dollar was matched with care and skill and flavour. If you're in the area, absolutely come check it out, you won't be disappointed! We cannot wait to come back and see the kind staff and experience the beautiful, calm atmosphere and of course enjoy the food again! What a treat! Thank you for a wonderful welcome to the neighbourhood. I'm sure we will be back soon! Also, thanks to Iman for her perfect and friendly service, she made us feel very well looked after.

ABSOLUTELY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Good coffee. Good food. Good vibes. HIGHLY recommend this café to anyone who hasn’t tried it. Very straight forward menu. I ordered the smashed avocado dish, very balanced in flavours, sweet, acidic, savoury - SPOT ON. Massive thank you to Matthew for his hospitality.

Lincoln Food Store, Essendon 5/5 stars I had a fantastic experience at Lincoln Food Store in Essendon. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Service was impressively quick, which is always a plus. The highlight for me was the coffee—it was simply amazing. I also ordered the beef burger, and it was served very quickly and tasted delicious. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
